Public data and tools for accountable proxy voting

Asset managers vote on behalf of millions of people, and guide the world's largest companies. The Center for Active Stewardship shows the public exactly how those votes are cast.

What we do

Asset managers’ proxy votes frequently fail to reflect their clients’ priorities on climate, human rights, animal rights, fair treatment of workers, responsible AI, and other domains. By making asset manager voting transparent, free to access, and easy to understand, we make stewardship misalignment harder to ignore—giving investors, advocates, journalists, and researchers the evidence they need to hold managers accountable.

The Center for Active Stewardship is a 501(c)(3) organization.
